Emre turns 21 today and is coming good

CelebrationPosted by Leif Larsson Mon, January 12, 2015 11:09:30

There is quite a few Liverpool players celebrating their birthday in January. Today it´s time for Emre Can as he turns 21. Congrats Emre!

The German signed for Liverpool last summer who paid Bayer Leverkusen almost ten million pounds for his services. Described as one of the most talented midfielders in German football he has had a slow start to his Liverpool career. He was on the bench in the beginning of the season but in recent week he´s been a regular feature in the line-up. Can has played as a holding midfielder, defender to the right in a back three and in the last game he played in midfield to the right for 45 minutes. He has performed well in all roles.

Emre Can is a well-built and mature guy already and has a lot of fine football qualities. He is strong, tough, quite quick and possesses fine technique. He will be an important part of Liverpool future and I think he can soon turn into an outstanding figure at Anfield. With him in the starting eleven:
